What do you get when you combine Blogger with Publisher? That’s right – Bloggisher!
So is Bloggisher a new blogging platform? Not yet, but it could be…and it could be yours!
As you may know Blogger.com is Google’s blogging popular platform. And Publisher is Microsoft’s graphics /desktop publishing software aimed at creating posters, flyers, newsletters, websites and the like. The name Bloggisher.com would suit a blogging platform, blogging software, a blogging service, maybe even a community of bloggers, or one very active or famous blogger.
The domain name “Bloggisher”, a clever hybrid, is up for sale to anyone who wishes to take the blogging world by storm.
If you’re Bill Gates, and you’re reading this post, maybe your team at Microsoft has been working on separating the website-building functions of Publisher, or developing your own blogging platform. This could be the best name for it. Come on, Bill – who’s going to forget the name Bloggisher?!
If you’re part of a web development company maybe you’ve got ideas for the simplest interface for a blogging platform, or a highly dynamic one. Have you got a winning domain name yet?
If you’re someone who’s connected in the Tech world, maybe you can put this offer under the nose of the right guys like Microsoft, Google, Facebook, Twitter, or a TechStart company, and make yourself a cool commission for doing so.
The price I’m asking in $150,000. (this includes the domain Bloggisher.net) And if you can find a buyer, or help set up an affiliate / promotion system that will attract the right buyer and close the deal, you can earn yourself a commission of $30,000 (20%). The price is negotiable under the right circumstances, so if the domain fetches a little less than $150,000 your commission will still be 20% of the selling price.
A well designed blogging platform can make blogging a breeze, and a badly designed platform can make blogging a tedious chore. With the rate of development of mobile apps and web services, it’s hard to imagine that we’ve reached the pinnacle of our blogging platforms.
Even with the most popular blogging platforms like, WordPress, Blogger, Typepad, Posterous and Tumblr, or the lesser know ones like Movable Type, Expression Engine and Jux, there is a still a whole lot of scope for simplifying the blogging interface, and huge scope for creating ideal balance between a user-friendly interface and a flexible framework. Maybe you want to create a platform only for a certain blogging niche or audience, or maybe create a blogging platform aimed primarily at children or our older folk.
If you’d like an easy, memorable name for your new blogging project, or have any queries in this regard, just email me here: I’d also be happy to help brainstorm and develop the application for a period of one month after the sale – and this is included in the price!
Looking forward to Bloggisher.com taking on a dynamic life of its own, hopefully helping us to get our messages out there and engage in online conversation with more ease and flair : )
